Emergency Operations Center

The Jefferson County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is a secure facility located at 1841 Highway 24 West in Louisville.
The EOC serves as a multi-agency coordination location for emergency operations and incident management. Here, decisions are made by emergency services leadership and partner agencies based upon information provided and resources requested by the Incident Commander at the scene of a disaster. Key functions include public notification and warning, coordination of response and recovery activities, prioritization of resources, and coordinating efforts with neighboring governments as well as state and federal resources.
