The Jefferson County Courthouse is located on Broad Street in Louisville. This historic building houses the State and Superior courts and the Offices of the Clerk of Court as well as other county offices. The Sheriff’s Office maintains an office in the Main courthouse and staffs adequate personnel to handle security for the Main Courthouse, along with Juvenile and the Magistrate court buildings. Court Security personnel are present during each session of State, Superior, Juvenile and Magistrate Courts.
