All applicants must undergo a criminal records check and be fingerprinted. The applicant must be at least 21 years of age and be a resident of Jefferson County.
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 10-1-360, secondary metals recyclers who purchase regulated metal property in any quantity must register with the appropriate sheriff’s office(s).
